Your Booking. Bookings can be made by telephone or via this website, but must be confirmed by sending a copy of the completed booking form and deposit within 7 days. We will send a confirmation when it is received. No contract exists until written confirmation is issued.
  1. PAYMENT OF BALANCE. Full payment must be received no later than 4 weeks before the start of the holiday. For bookings made within 4 weeks of arrival, full payment must accompany the completed booking form.
  2. ALTERATIONS. If you wish to alter any details of your booking, including a ferry time, we will endeavour to help you if it is possible to do so. We will make an administration charge of £10 to cover costs. If making an addition to the number of persons in the Cottage, the maximum number of persons is stated in the brochure/website and must not be exceeded.
  3. CANCELLATION. In the unfortunate event of you having to cancel your holiday, the date of cancellation will be the day on which written communication of cancellation is received by us.

    We strongly recommend you to take advantage of Travel Insurance and we will be happy to send you a proposal form for cover which includes protection against cancellation charges. Please note that all deposits are non-refundable.
  4. COMPLAINTS. We all hope you will have a trouble free holiday but obviously, equipment does occasionally break down and we may have to obtain parts from the mainland. In the unlikely event that you get a problem, you must report it to a member of our family so that a repair can be carried out as soon as possible. Please report any non-emergency or minor problems during normal working hours. If there is no way, after full investigation, that we can put the problem right, we will offer to either, relocate you in another of our cottages, if available, or make a refund, the maximum amount of which will be equal to the unexpired percentage of the holiday cost.
  5. ON ARRIVAL. A deposit of £50 is required, from which will be deducted, balance of deposit refunded at end of holiday and anything broken or damaged. The balance will normally be refunded within 28 days from the end of your holiday.
  6. FERRY BOOKINGS. If you wish us to book your ferry crossing, you must declare the size of your vehicle on the booking form. Wightlink's standard charges are based on up to 6 metres in length and up to 2.25 metres in height, this includes anything on the roof. Additional charges are made if the overall dimensions are exceeded.
