Schools
School visitsSchool visits are welcomed, and must be pre-booked. A guided visit around the house can be included imbetween displays, and indoor/ outdoor picnic areas are available. There is an interactive CD-Rom available to all schools interested is visiting the centre and the house. . To help teachers, a free advance visit is available.
The centre is covered by public liability insurance of £10M, and carries out regular risk assessments. Copies of both are available on request.
Prices for 2011
£3 per child with free entry for Teachers and Teaching Assistants .Payment in advance or on the day ( cheques payable to Appuldurcombe Heritage please ) or by invoice by prior arrangement.
Visits can also be organised through Isle Of Wight Experience,school journey association etc.
